A Very Memorable Trip to Ireland

I always receive travel flyers and brochures from different travel agencies in our area. One day, I received a flyer offering a very cheap trip to Ireland. It is less than 500.00 Euros including the return flight from Munich to Dublin. Accommodation, breakfast and dinner, trips to the different places everyday and tour guides were also included in that trip.

I did not made a second thought because I really find it very cheap considering the many things included in it. I immediately called the travel agency and asked if there were still free seats in that trip. I was so happy when the travel agent said that I am lucky because there were still two seats left.

Before the travel agent confirm my booking, he asked if I still want to buy a travel insurance for that trip. I told him no, because I already browsed it online and found one at   Du insure Australia. I get a lot of ideas from this site especially the importance of having a travel insurance and how it can help us in terms of risks and disasters when travelling.

The trip I had in Ireland two months ago was truly an experience. I did not only learned  some of the facts about this beautiful country but I also had the  chance to know the culture of the people and how they live. I was able to visit many places there in which I thought, I can only see those places in my dreams,  in TV or in internet.  Finally, that dream came to reality.

Dublin, the capital of  Ireland’s capital is truly worth-to-see.  The Cliffs of Moher in County Clare is a manifestation of  the wonder of nature.   Our drive to the beautiful landscape of Connemara was  like taking a trip to the fantasy land. The Twelve Pins are adding beauty to this region.  I love it there!

Our visit to the Kylemore Abbey let us  discover the   the  story  of the true love of a husband to his wife. It was a was built as a private home for the family of Mitchell Henry, a wealthy doctor from London. He built this castle for his wife Margaret. Our visit to Ennis, the center of the Irish Folks Music was also a wonderful one!

Our visit to Ireland’s first city of culture which is Limerick, was also a fantastic experience. I wish I am a poet and writer so that I can live in this city without paying a tax. Yes, our tour guide also mentioned about this privilege. Our stop to this lovely little town of Adare is another experience. I have to complain with our tour guide that a 15-minute stop is not enough even to go to one toilet with over 50 people in a bus. We ended up staying for almost an hour and I have the chance to take some photos of their interesting sights.

I cannot forget the trip we had in Ring of Kerry. We had a drive around this ring and experienced the one of the famous trail in Ireland. We did a lot of stops to the most interesting towns and villages in this area.

That was truly a memorable and unforgettable travel I had in Ireland. I am hoping to visit it again in the future!
